This course is an introduction to the hairdressing profession, giving you a fundamental understanding of haircutting and the professional work carried out in a salon. You will be trained in the most important cutting principles, including sectioning the hair, correct use of scissors, combs and other tools, as well as how to structure and perform a haircut step by step.
Throughout the course, you will work hands-on with cutting techniques and learn to identify different hair types, face shapes and cutting concepts. You will gain insight into how a haircut is adapted to an individual’s expression, style and hair structure, providing you with a strong foundation for understanding and performing professional haircuts.
This course provides you with a solid professional starting point and a realistic insight into the hairdressing industry, making it ideal for those considering a longer hairdressing education or wishing to learn haircutting at a professional level.
